descriptions:

RICARDO HUISMAN
Creates movable, multisensorial, interactive touchsound sculptures. His pieces interact with the people and acoustic properties of the space in which they are installed. The sculptures prominently feature soundscapes that reveal multiple associative dimensions of the object in question. Sound to feel and to look at. Will perform and install some of his work during kinetic engineering #3 .

NOISIV
Berlin-based group that gathers recordings of their surrounding soundscapes, then cut, distort, filter them, convert them by digital means into aural noise.
Structure to chaos – to structure again. The visual performer
manipulates a noise driven video feedback generator (the light violin), which produces hypnotic visual sequences in real that are projected.

MANGROVE KIPLING

Has collaborated with numerous improv and noise musicians from the
Berlin scene in the context of performances, exhibitions, and other sessions. His primary instruments are the guitar and laptop, which he uses to create sounds ranging from noise-rock to power electronics. Founded the Apostrov label with Sciss in 2004.

DOUBLE ADAPTER

Spazzcore salvoes of frenzied sonic napalm. Double Adaptor are Roy Carroll, computers and keyboards and Keith o’Brien keyboards, computers and guitars. Double Adaptor are fresh from curating their own very successful ‘Sonolux’ weekend at the Project Arts Centre, Dublin and gig frequently around the city often with no fixed set, improvising on the spot. They recently played enthusiastically received shows in Berlin and have relocated there.

Dear all, friends and unknown yet,

This friday 13th october, K77 (Kastanienallee77 Przlbg) hosts us again and the cinema’s musical programm will start much earlier as usual that day:

17h00: bruno K (Fr/Berlin)/ chanson radicale et thermonucléaire; the “troubadour” will drag you into his acid world in the sweetest manner, a different kind of pop venue de France
Bruno K

20h00: Tupolev brûle (Berlin)/ A variation on distorted postrock, the first concert of Marc, Tom, Keith and Laurent; for a tiny recall of what we used to drink beer to a few years ago
Tupolev brûle

Then will start the SALON BRUIT for that night:

21h30: Stupidity (Japan/Switzerland) vs Mangrove Kipling (France), a voyage into the darkest side of black ink, if ink could be a sound, but this time the walls should stand…
Stupidity
Mangrove Kipling

22h30: Tetsuroh Konishi/ Trumpet and elecronic noises, from Saitama, Japan. Tetsuroh comes again as a guest this time, you see him here during a spontaneous solo in the cinema last week.
Tetsuroh Konishi

And maybe Pato, our dearest resident DJ (for the last three weeks at least) will end the evening with the good tunes with which he always knows how to reach our hearts; We all hope you can make it Ruben!

Diego Chamy and Axel Dörner
will pay us a visit, bring a trumpet and a big drum, and maybe also a journalist: hopefully he won’t faint again:

Read his last words:

“Ein Gespenst geht um in Europa: Unbemerkt von einer großen Öffentlichkeit gedeiht in Berlin eine neue Art von Free Jazz: Hier geht es nicht mehr um Kraft oder Hemmungslosigkeit, sondern um Bescheidenheit und Tiefe. More Gespenstiges Lesen hier

Ruben (aka Pato, our wildly happily chaotic MP3J won’t be there to destroy a Tom Waits song, but maybe he will come all the same, and try to mix his sonicisms with the bumbum sounds from the basement where another party will go on.

Chris Worden from Montreal and Berlin is a multi-instrumentalist. He will bring his guitar and devices, and probably a guest that will take care of the visual part. Chris is also here.

Julian Ronnefeldt will mix projections, field recordings and radiomaking into one performance. Probably in the bar where a big selection of transistor radio’s will transmit his sounds. Bring your own radio for some fine private listenings. More monkeys

prenzlauer berg
U-bahnhof Eberswalder Strasse
